My name is Alex Taldren. I am a web writer for a health information and services company and aspire to be a professional video game journalist. As a hardcore gamer, I typically play anywhere between 20-40 hours of video games per week. I play nearly all genres with the exception of most sports, racing, and fighting games. I’m a registered Republican and tend to end up on the conservative side of the political spectrum, which definitely puts me in an odd category since most gamers are more on the liberal side. My alias, Alex Taldren, originated as a gaming alias I have used for over eight years now. It is based on a gaming software developer that went out of business a few years ago called Taldren.
