What an idiot. How can a PS3 be better than a PC if a PS3 _IS_ a PC!

And your calling the PC a console?

What a dickhead!

I've yet to see an intelligent remark from those anti-cheathappens, just repeating the same dumb complaints of those before them. If you someone can come up with a GOOD answer as to why they should not charge for their own hard work, then please lets hear it. Otherwise, this debate is over, with cheathappens coming out on top.

Stop complaining. Make your own trainer if you can't pay the small fee.

Plain and simple.

Also, beggars can't be choosers. Keep that in mind.

Other website trainer makers only make trainers for the games they themselves actually play. CH purchases almost every single new game, including games none of them actually want to play and have no desire to because it doesn't interest them at all. Yet, they buy those games they don't want just to make a trainer for it for their members because even though none of them want to play the game, there's sure as hell going to be some members who do.

Other websites don't offer support for their trainers. If the trainers don't work properly, it's tough s***. Then of course other websites usually don't keep their trainers up-to-date with the latest game patches because they've moved on to other games so they don't care about their out-of-date trainer anymore. CH supports all of their trainers, offers solutions and tries hard to fix any possible options if they aren't working properly.

New trainers are usually released to the public in like a month. There are the occasional trainers which never get released to the public and I understand that sucks. But what people seem to not understand is how much money it costs CH to purchase the amount of games they buy per month. Then of course all the other costs; site fees and paying the trainer makers for their hard work for the 40-50 trainers per month, providing support, solutions, fixes to the trainers if necessary and of course keeping them up-to-date which usually means re-installing the game in order to do so. So it's a lot of hard work and effort they put into the site and trainers.

If you don't like having to pay for a trainer than here's two solutions for you. One, submit a game FAQ or walkthrough to become an "author" which gives you free lifetime unlimited access. Or two, learn how to make trainers yourself! And if you start making trainers yourself and want firsthand knowledge of how CH operates, than create a website... Buy almost every single game that comes out... And make your site completely free of charge. Once you've done that for an entire year, come back here and tell us how much money you lost out of your own pocket due to not charging people a dime. Let's see how long you can keep up with keeping your site completely free and buying all those games every single week. The ending result would be you shutting the site down due to not having the money to continue, or, coming to terms with having to charge for your own form of unlimited access.

With CH, you're paying for quick access to their high quality trainers. You're paying for the trainer support and fixes if needed for those quick access trainers; than, support continues throughout, even when the trainer is finally released to the public. You're paying to have trainers made for any possible new release you feel like wasting your money on because nothing else good came out.

I had a very similar idea, but it was based around the concept of a virtual MMO museum, where players could download old clients and log on to old servers of MMOs gone by. You added the very interesting twist of adding older versions of MMOs, like previous versions of Everquest.

Obviously there would be a lot of challenges to this cocept; the largest being preserving intellectual property rights. Once would have to cap levelling somehow, limit online time, or do periodic resets in order to prevent players from using them as a substitute for subscription servers.

Imagine being able to go back and show friends and other game designers what Horizons or Earth and Beyond looked like? I think that it would not only be very neat but would be a nice way of preserving the history of MMOs...

I didnt like it all that much. Too much time spent talking with other characters, and finding health packs, food, vodka, artifacts, etc..

But the atmosphere + graphics and perhaps even the story is excellent

Try it out, you may like it a whole lot better than i did
